Newest Saekano Cafe Offers Special Menu, Goods and Unusual Activities!

For a very limited time, Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend will have its very own collab cafe in the heart of Harajuku!

Officially titled “Saenai: Harajuku no Sugoshikata♭ (Furatto)”, the cafe will be open from May 19 to June 11 at Q PLAZA. However, any Saekano fans that want to visit will have to buy a 2,000 ticket first! Why, you ask? Well, the cafe is all about creating the perfect experience for each visitor. Purchasing a ticket will grant you up to 90 minutes that you’re free to spend however you want!

Just visiting will grant you one original coaster, one original pin, and one special drink based on the heroines of the series Katou Megumi, Kasumigaoka, or Sawamura Spencer Eriri!

If you’re craving another drink, there are several different ones you can buy. As a bonus, each additional item you buy off the menu grants you a free random coaster!

There’s plenty of yummy foods to choose from as well, with all sorts of interesting names! There’s “Carbonara (Katou Eventually Made)”, “Yakisoba (That Katou Made for Everyone)”, and “(My Main Heroine) Icecream”, just to name a few.

Snacking isn’t the only option, either. Believe it or not, the cafe will have a huge TV that’ll project an almost life-sized Katou so you can gaze lovingly at her or lay down next to her!

On another screen, you can view a mini talk show between the talented voice actresses behind the heroines, which include Yasuno Kiyono (as Katou), Kayano Ai (as Kasumigaoka), and Onishi Saori (as Sawamura).

A real life meeting with the three isn’t possible inside the cafe, but for an additional fee, the cafe will let you borrow a headset so you can meet up with the trio in VR!

Before you exit the cafe and leave Saekano heaven, they’ll have a nice little line-up of goods that you can purchase too! All of them have illustrations by Misaki Kurehito, the illustrator and character designer for the series.

Attendees will also be given an additional gift in the form of a pin badge! If Saekano overload is real, then this cafe is where it’s bound to happen. How would you spend your time here?
