J-WORLD TOKYO, the official theme park of Jump, will be adding a new cosplay service for otaku tourists visiting from overseas!
J-COS! opens Apr. 21 and lets excited visitors cosplay as their favorite anime characters. All the tools needed for a grand transformation (costumes, props, wigs, and makeup) are all provided. Even better, support staff are present for every step of the way to ensure visitors have the best cosplay session possible!
The support staff, much like other park staff and signs, accommodate multiple languages so tourists get the most out of their J-WORLD TOKYO experience!
There are three different courses to choose from. The most basic course covers the wig and costume rental, while the special course adds a selection of props to the list. A photography session with skilled photographers is a special option that can be added to either course for an additional fee. Those who opt for the additional photo service will be given their photo of choice in an original frame to treasure at home as a special souvenir!
Anyone can participate, whether they’ve come alone or in a group. The high quality costumes were made by ACOS and allows otaku to dress up as 13 characters over 4 of Jump’s most popular series: One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, or Gintama!
So for all you readers who are dying to go to J-WORLD TOKYO, don’t let your dreams be dreams! The park is dedicated to providing the best vacation to all visitors, especially those from outside of Japan. Plus, now you can enjoy some fantastic cosplay without having to worry about all the logistics of doing it by yourself!
