New Mega Man Animated Series Coming to Cartoon Network in 2018!

CAPCOM’s classic Mega Man title is finally receiving another cartoon series! Fans have waited over 20 years since the last Mega Man cartoon, and Dentsu Entertainment USA has just announced that the wait will finally end in 2018! The show, which will be geared towards younger audiences, will broadcast on America’s Cartoon Network and Canada’s Family CHRGD.

The script itself will be handled by Man of Action, a company which has worked on multiple successful titles such as the animated versions of Spiderman, The Avengers, and the animated movie Big Hero 6!

Despite the intended audience, this new series is sure to excite even the most veteran of Mega Man fans! After all, since being released in Japan for the NES in 1987, the game has sold over 31 million units, and that doesn’t even cover all the goods, comics, and other products released! To this day, Mega Man continues to be one of CAPCOM’s signature characters, and that isn’t about to end any time soon!
