ANiUTa, the world’s first music streaming subscription specializing in anime songs, started service today (Mar. 24)!
Created by Sasaki Shiro and Inoue Shunji, the respective CEOs of Flying Dog and Lantis, with cooperation of other anime record companies, ANiUTa aims to provide a specialized platform where anime music makers can directly approach fans worldwide.
ANiUTa currently offers 50,000 tracks from various anime, games, and superhero franchises as well as Vocaloid songs. Take a look at their promotional video for a sneak peek of some of the awesome titles available!
What sets ANiUTa apart from other subscription services such as Apple Music, Google Play Music, Amazon Prime Music, or Spotify, just to name a few, is its function to search for music from specific anime.
Future services will include pre-release streaming during anime airing season, collaborations with voice actors/actresses, exclusive concert ticket application, and shopping for exclusive merchandise.
Although it’s only available in Japan at the moment, ANiUTa is set to launch abroad at the end of 2017.
