Following in the footsteps of Shirobako and Hanasaku Iroha, Sakura Quest is the third piece in the “Working” series by P.A.Works.
The new series is set to premiere on Apr. 5 on Tokyo MX and AT-X, and later on ABC, BS11, and Tulip TV. It will also be distributed online by Amazon Premium Video (Apr. 4), Nico Nico Live Broadcast, and Nico Nico Anime Channel.
In Sakura Quest, protagonist Koharu Yoshino is suddenly appointed as the ruler of the Chupacabra Kingdom, and she has only one year to make the town flourish! Fortunately, she’s not alone on this quest, as she is joined by a diverse crew —Shinomiya Shiori, Midorikawa Maki, Oribe Ririko, and Kozuki Sanae— who all bring their unique talents to the table.
The new PV showcases scenic rural landscapes and gives a nice taste of the fun we can expect from this anime, so be sure to watch~
The release date of the opening and ending singles has also been announced! Both songs, “Morning Glory” and “Freesia”, are produced by the band (K)NoW_NAME and are coming out on June 7.
The deluxe versions come with jacket illustrations by character designer Sekiguchi Kanami and also include a Blu-ray disc. The outer jacket of “Morning Glory” features an energetic Koharu Yoshino wearing her royal attire, while “Freesia” shows the group gazing at the starry night sky.
Jacket illustrations of the regular versions were created by so-bin, the illustrator of (K)NoW_NAME. They both turned out gorgeous!
These are also featured on the inner jacket of the deluxe versions.
