As early as March, Love Live! Sunshine!! fans will be able to stop by any amusement center in Japan to pick up a premium figure or two of their favorite high school idols!
Aside from the quality and lovely appearance that’s already expected of these figures, what truly makes them stand out is the packaging they’ll have. Much of Love Live! Sunshine!!’s environment was based in reality, with specific regards to the Numazu city located in Shizuoka Prefecture. With Aqours’ Uranohoshi Girls’ High School based in Numazu, it should be no surprise that many of the areas seen in the series have real-life counterparts!
This new figure series, which is titled “Pure Love -Numa-,” will release all nine Aqours members sometime between March and May. They’ll be sporting casual clothing that suits their personalities, and each package will display a photograph with its respective character and a series-related Numazu area!

Kurosawa has the rock terrace of an Awashima Shinto shrine behind her, which her and her younger sister have brought up in the series.

Matsuura poses in front of Awashima Marine Park, which is the establishment her grandfather’s diving shop was modeled after.
