Yuri!!! on Ice and the theme park Namja Town are coming together for the collaborative event “Yuri!!! on Ice in Namja Town ~Kaimaku! Grand Prix Finyal~” from March 3 through May 7.
There was a mini Yuri!!! on Ice event called “Yuri!!! on Ice in Namja Town ~Nyan no Piroshki!!~” in Namja Town in December 2016 where visitors could enjoy photo spots and photo sticker machines, and it’s being followed on March 3 by the even bigger event “Kaimaku! Grand Prix Finyal.” It’ll include a collaborative menu with food based on the characters, game carts, and limited edition goods.
A special illustration was done specifically for this event featuring the characters in chibi designs wearing hoodies with cat ears. There’s also a non-chibi illustration of them with the same hoodie design at Namja Town that’s an absolute must-see!
The menu includes 15 items to choose from, the most important of which is the “Ji-chan’s Style! Yurachika’s Favorite Katsudon Piroshki.” It recreates the original recipe made by Yuri’s grandfather in the series.
The menu also includes “Katsudon! That’s My Eros! Yuri’s Devilish Katsudon That’ll Trap Everyone,” “I’ll Prove I Know Love & Grew Strong in Namja Town! Love Bond Cake,” and “Victor’s Partner! Super Cute Makkachin Crepe.” Visitors will receive one postcard for each menu item they order.
The games are “Yuri!!! on Garapon” and “Hanarezu ni Soba ni Ite: Yuri no Hug Hug! Hug Taikai.” Depending on how you do, you can receive limited edition goods with special artwork on them. Fifteen new frames will also be added to the photo sticker machine, with 11 chibi character frames being added on March 3 and four illustrated frames being added on March 24.
During this event you can also receive an original card as a present for each 2,000 yen spent per receipt. Check the official site for details.
