Have you ever wished you could step through Doraemon’s Anywhere Door to somewhere completely different? Well, those childhood dreams have been brought to life with Project i Can’s out-of-this-world Anywhere Door!
In collaboration with Doraemon the Movie 2017: Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi, VR entertainment production group Project i Can has developed a virtual reality Anywhere Door to the site of Doraemon and Nobita’s latest adventures - the icebergs of Antarctica!

It’ll be available for the public to play from Feb. 20 to Apr. 14 at Tokyo Solamachi, so only a few more sleeps! In the meantime, we’ll just have to whet our appetite with the promotion video above. Delightfully quirky, it combines two important elements: the childlike sense of imagination that the anime encouraged within all of us, and the unbelievable technology that’s given us a real life Doraemon.
You’ll start out in Nobita’s room, a familiar sight for so many of us!
These are your virtual hands, ready to open that door.
But first, meet Doraemon!
Now back to that door! Twist the knob, push it open, and you’ll find yourself gazing out on the icy Antarctic landscape...

Note: Participants must be 13 or older.
