On Feb. 9, MegaHouse started accepting pre-orders for their “One Piece Monkey D. Luffy Past Blue (Ver. Yellow)” figure, the latest addition to the Variable Action Heroes series, a line of highly posable articulated figures, set to release in late June!
Depicted as seen in the Marineford battle, Luffy is also the first figure in the new Past Blue series, which features characters from before the 2-year timeskip, from the East Blue Saga up to the Summit War Saga.
He comes with quite a few spare parts, such as facial expressions including laughing and furious, hand parts, a piece of meat on a bone, and, of course, his trademark straw hat which can be put on or taken off, allowing for the reenactment of various scenes, from carefree moments to rescuing Ace. You can also get a special VA stand (sold separately) for a wider range of poses.
In addition, the first batch also comes with a plastic sheet featuring sound effects for that extra One Piece feel~
