Dragon Ball Super will kick off the start of its fifth season on Feb. 5! Dedicated fans will be able to watch the unfolding of the new Universe Survival Saga on Fuji TV, every Sunday at 9:00 am.
A 30-second preview was recently released that revealed what fans of this global phenomenon already knew: This new chapter in the Dragon Ball universe is gearing up to hit the ground running with all the conflict, laughs, and battles one can handle!
This time, Goku and his fellow warriors head to the Tournament of Power, where multiple teams from multiple universes will fight to win. But honestly, they don’t have a choice when losing means having their universe destroyed! Universe 7 will have some of the best fighters to defend their right to exist: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Master Roshi, Tien, Piccolo, Android 18, Android 17, Majin Boo, and Krillin.
Zen-Oh is the charming villain this time around, though it seems he simply wants to do his duty and keep balance within the 12 universes he resides over! With such huge stakes, if there was ever a time for Goku and the team to step up, it’s now.
Stock up on your popcorn and delicious sugary drinks, because this newest arc of Dragon Ball Super is one that’ll have you glued to your seat and your screen!
