Hakone Academy pose at the starting line in these all new promotional pictures for the latest Yowamushi Pedal stage show!
The first Yowamushi Pedal stage show Sohoku Shinsedai, Shidou ran in March of 2016 with Hakone Shinsedai, Shidou following in September. Now you’re about to see the climatic episode as the latest show launches this spring with the Inter High championships.
This latest show explored outside of the regular casting pool and so was the first to make use of open auditions. The creative team led by Nishida Shatner picked the most talented cast members regardless of professional or amateur status.
The cast will be led by Kawaharada Takuya in the role of Izumida Touichirou, alongside Akimoto Ryutarou as Vice Captain Kuroda Yukinari, and Higashi Keisuke as ace rider Ashikiba Takuto.
Tanimizu Riki will play Manami Sangaku, with Kanesaki Kentaro as Doubashi Masakiyo, and Iiyama Yuuta as Shinkai Yuuto.
Yowamushi Pedal: Shin Inter High-hen Start Line opens at Osaka’s Orix Theatre on Feb. 25 before moving to Tokyo Dome City Hall on March 12. Check the official website for all the performance details.
