The new Gintama anime will finally be airing this month! Along with that, there's also be a character lottery called Ichiban Lottery Gintama ~ I’ve Never Seen Gin-san Like This Before (?) ~, which began on Feb. 11.
The Ichiban Lottery Gintama ~ I’ve Never Seen Gin-san Like This Before (?) ~ lineup includes 11 prize levels and 36 items. First revealed is protagonist Sakata Gintoki, who, like the rest of the cast, will be featured with unusually serious expressions.
The A prize is a Sakata Gintoki figure. From his torn clothes and injuries from fierce battle, his fighting spirit, to his sculpted abs, Gin-san has been reproduced carefully as a design set apart from his usually comical demeanor.
Prizes B through G include a variety of microfiber towels that feature the characters fighting with imposing expressions, conveying the tension of battle.
Next up, the H prize is a handy little pouch that can also be used to clean the screens of items like smartphones.
The I prize is a hand towel bearing a Japanese-style design, the J prize is a colorful acrylic charm, and K is a chibi rubber mascot.
The last prize is a Sakata Gintoki figure in shiny colors, for the winner who buys the very last ticket. This is the same as the A prize but with different paint, evoking a slightly different look. And for those who can't get enough of this lottery, you can receive a tapestry featuring a specially illustrated image of the characters as a present by using your ticket stub to apply for the Double Chance Campaign.
Ichiban Lottery Gintama ~ I’ve Never Seen Gin-san Like This Before (?) ~ opened in bookstores, Tsutaya, Animate, Jump shops, hobby shops, and amusement facilities nationwide on Feb. 11.
