Bake Inc. manages the online service PictCake Chara, and it is now offering a limited edition Hatsune Miku Christmas cake. Following the winter 2015 design and 2016 designs for spring and summer, this was specially done by illustrator Nardack. As a special bonus, each of this year’s Hatsune Miku cakes will also come with a multi-cloth as a present. There are only 500 of these Christmas cakes will be available.

Since its start in July 2014, this customizable picture cake service has rapidly grown with 50,000 sold this year. Bringing sweets and technology together, it’s easy to submit your picture for your own cake through the app or online.
PictCake Chara is a sister brand to this service and does collaborations with popular illustrators, anime, and characters. Each cake is handmade in a pastry shop in Hokkaido, and their delicious flavor and fluffy texture are preserved through a flash freezing technique before being delivered nationwide with the same quality as a fresh cake.
PictCake Chara has featured a number of characters from character series like Rilakkuma, Kuma no Gakkou, and Shaun the Sheep. It has also started serving character frame cakes as of May 23, 2016 which allows you to customize your cake with your own picture inside of a character frame.
