The clumsy but hardworking idol Akari Ozora is the protagonist of the third season of the popular anime series Aikatsu!, and this figure set captures her many charms perfectly! The "S.H.Figuarts Akari Ozora (Winter Uniform Ver.) DX Set" also includes a figure of Ozorotter, the mascot of the Ozora Weather TV show hosted by Akari in the anime series. The set retails for ¥8,640 (including tax, excluding shipping and handling), and pre-orders started on the Premium Bandai collectible figure shop Tamashii Web Shop at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14.
Aikatsu! is an anime series that tells the story of girls who dream of becoming top idols, and the protagonist of the third season is the clumsy but cheerful Akari Ozora. In the series she becomes a weather girl and presents the Ozora Weather show, with the mascot Ozorotter by her side. This DX set from S.H.Figuarts pairs the adorable duo together as figures!
The Akari figure is 130-millimeters tall, and it captures the cute idol's energetic nature perfectly. She's looking fabulous in her winter uniform, with her eye-catching blue blazer and white mini-skirt. Akari was inspired to become an idol by Ichigo Hoshimiya, of whom she is a huge fan, and her long hairstyle at the beginning of the anime mirrored Ichigo's. But after receiving advice from Ichigo, she reinvented herself and drastically cut her hair into a short bob, which has grown out to shoulder-length by the third season. This figure's standard hairstyle is Akari's shoulder-length hairstyle, but thanks to the interchangeable hair parts included in the set you can switch between long and short hair, too!
This set also includes the crystal mic that Akari received from Ichigo in the 2014 movie Aikatsu! The Movie, plus to-scale Aikatsu Cards (Odette Swan Coord) and her student ID. With stunning props like these, recreating your favourite scenes from the series is easy!
This set also features a 145-millimeter-tall figure of Ozorotter, the mascot of the Ozora Weather TV show hosted by Akari in the anime series. Ozorotter has the appearance of an otter, but it has a sky-pattern on its body and a cloud resting on its head, and this figure captures every detail perfectly. The shell that Ozorotter is holding can be opened and closed, and it has an adorable message inside congratulating Akari on her one-month anniversary of presenting Ozora Weather!
