45th Prize Fair [Photo Report]

The 45th Prize Fair kicked off in Tokyo on Wednesday, Sept. 7 and will be held in four cities across Japan. An exhibit specially for industry insiders from six prize makers in Japan, the event included announcements of new prizes for game centers set to be released during the 2017 winter season (January to March). In this report, we take a look through photos at the new items displayed at the Banpresto booth, an official partner of Tokyo Otaku Mode.

The nine members of Aqours from the popular currently airing TV anime Love Live! Sunshine!! appeared as Chibi Kyun Chara figures all lined up together! There were even Valkyrie members from the also airing TV anime Macross Delta in new outfits. The six Matsuno siblings from Osomatsu-san, a series especially popular with girls, joined in too as figures seated on luxurious, extravagant chairs. On top of that, a popular highlight was the new items on display in the Madogatari Exhibit based on Nisio Isin’s Monogatari Series anime project.
