The Cosplay Expo 2015 was held at the SuihoEn Japanese Garden in Los Angeles on Nov. 21.
Normally, photography isn’t allowed in Japanese gardens, but it was at this event organized by the SPJA, the parent organization behind Anime Expo.
Photography meetups are a scene often seen at conventions and other events, but there’s quite a gap between it and the everyday locale of Japanese gardens, and attendees left fully satisfied. There weren’t just cosplayers, photographers also participated and attendees enjoyed an extraordinary atmosphere. The event even attracted families who came with their children, which can be said to have been its distinctive feature. Take a look at the event through our photos of some of the superb cosplay from anime, manga, and games.
