The Guys from “Haikyu!!” Hanging on Your Cup - Putitto Figure Series Announced

Haikyu!! is joining the Putitto figure series developed by Kitan Club and Gray Parka Service. Putitto is a figure series of mini figures you can hang from the rim of your cup and play with. The series has also successfully collaborated with various other anime to date.

Haikyu!! is a manga created by Haruichi Furudate that is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The series depicts the adolescence of high school boys obsessed with volleyball and has gained explosive popularity especially among female readers. The first season of the TV anime was produced in 2014, and the second season began broadcasting last month. This collaboration is sure to spark interest among many fans.

The lineup this time includes seven characters in total—Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Yu Nishinoya, Kei Tsukishima, Tadashi Yamaguchi, Tetsuro Kuro, and Kenma Kozume—with each one being between 5-6 centimeters tall. They are priced individually at 500 yen, or you can get a box of eight for 4,000 yen (both prices exclude tax).

The figures have a high quality that captures the personality of each character, in particular some like Kei Tsukishima look like they’re blocking the ball. You can decorate with a group of your favorite characters or just have fun gazing at them. The figures will go on sale in January 2016. They will also be available for pre-order on Gray Parka Service’s online shopping site Gorilland and other sites.
