[TGS 2015] Tokyo Otaku Mode Live Stream Hut! Day 1

Tokyo Game Show 2015 (TGS 2015) was held from Sept. 17–20, 2015 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The curtain has now fallen on the event which once again this year attracted many gaming fans and was a roaring success.

Tokyo Otaku Mode (TOM) set up a booth at TGS, invited some famous people from the gaming world and on 19th and 20th held various events which were also broadcast in real time through the “Tokyo Otaku Mode Live Stream Hunt!” You can even still watch these broadcasts right now on the dedicated webpage!! Reports of the Newest Information on Mighty No. 9 and Red Ash

Keiji Inafune, the video game creator who worked on Mega Man and Onimusha, made an appearance and discussed his personal relationship with Tokyo Game Show and his thoughts on game production. He also talked about the games in production right now—*Mighty No. 9* and Red Ash—including their production status and contents so it really became an event about the “now” of game production.

Open Participation! A Showdown with Ladybeard and Ultra Street Fighter IV

This event was the highlight of the day and welcomed rising idol star Ladybeard and professional gamer ChocoBlanka as guests. ChocoBlanka gave Ladybeard a crash course in Street Fighter IV - not only was it completely hilarious but the spectators learned a thing or two as well!

Report: What's Happening at Tokyo Game Show 2015 [French]

This event was mainly conducted in French. The guests were reporter and moderator Mehdi Nekkache and journalist Daniel Andreyev who talked passionately about the latest game news announced at TGS 2015 and the most attention-grabbing booths.

Pro Gamer ChocoBlanka Coaches You! (Ultra Street Fighter IV)

Pro gamers Momochi and ChocoBlanka gave a crash course in Ultra Street Fighter IV! This was a dream project in which those who attended the event had the opportunity to play Ultra Street Fighter IV with and receive advice from ChocoBlanka herself, so it really was an event no Ultra Street Fighter IV fan would want to miss!

Hot Upcoming RPG Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna (Project Setsuna)

This event welcomed game developer Atsushi Hashimoto to the stage to talk in detail about the soon to be released Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna including the story, characters and settings as well as touching on information about games that are heading for release in the near future. As he was actually playing the game as he was talking about it, you could even see the in-game screens which really set expectations racing.
