A surprise announcement was made at the event MF Bunko J Summer School Festival 2015 held at UDX in Akihabara, Tokyo on July 19. During a special MF Bunko J stage event held from 12:00–12:30 p.m. on the day of the event, it was revealed that another of the label’s popular novels, Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re: Life in a Different World from Zero), has been greenlit for a TV anime adaptation.

Re: Life in a Different World from Zero is a novel series published by Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J label. Starting as a popular web novel, the series gained acclaim in published book form. Created by author Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrator Shinichiro Otsuka, the fantasy novel follows main character Subaru Natsuki who is summoned to another world. Subaru has the unique ability of being able to rewind death. Can he save a girl who fights against fate? Prepare for a highlight-filled series.
