Broadcast information has been released for SuzakiNishi the Animation, which has been picking up attention for its surprising development from a radio show to a TV anime. The broadcast will kick off on July 8 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and TV Kanazawa, and repeat streaming will begin on Nico Nico Douga on July 9.
Along with the broadcast information, the official site has opened. It seems fans’ anticipation will rise all the more as the broadcast approaches.
A key visual has also been released. On it Aya Suzuki and Asuka Nishi are drawn as high school students. Both Suzaki and Nishi are radio personalities, and for this series they’re not only offering their voices, they’re also playing themselves. The illustrated Suzaki and Nishi are both captivating.
Both Suzaki and Nishi also sing the theme song, “Smile Revolution,” as the unit SuzakiNishi. SuzakiNishi’s active vocal roles in both singing and voicing characters are attention worthy.
Producing the animation is Feel, which also produced My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Too! and Listen to Me, Girls. I am Your Father!. What kind of series will this anime that began as a radio show be? The broadcast is just around the corner.
