“Escape from an Amusement Park Besieged by Titans,” a collaborative event between Attack on Titan and Real Escape Game, will be held in Tokyo and Osaka this summer. The event will be held from July 18 to Sept. 23 at Tokyo Dome City Attractions, and from July 24 to Sept. 6 at Osaka Hirakata Park. Though the bonus item is a fan, because it’s Real Escape Game, it’s more than just a fan. Titled the “Riddle-Solving Fan,” it comes stocked with solutions to riddles. The front features the event visual, while the back has an illustration of popular character Levi. Each has exceptional impact and stylishness. Riddles have been recorded on the fan as well, which you can hear Levi solve through exclusively recorded comments by inputting them on the web. What type of messages await fans is a point of curiosity.

Attack on Titan is based on a manga by Hajime Isayama currently serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (published by Kodansha). The series is a massive hit with 44 million copies in print. The TV anime began in 2013, and Attack on Titan Part 2: Wings of Freedom will be released in theaters on June 27.
Real Escape Game began as a free net game launched in 2004, and its format has shifted to real world events. Events are held in a variety of locations including a room in a mansion, an abandoned school, an abandoned hospital, Tokyo Dome, Roppongi Hills, and more, and its popularity is catching on. The 2014 collaboration with Attack on Titan titled “Escape from the Walled City” recorded attendance in Japan of 62,000 and was also held overseas, where it recorded attendance of 10,000.
