Details on season 2 of the TV anime K have come to light. The confirmed title is K: Return of Kings, and its broadcast will begin this October on MBS Animeism and other networks. Along with this, the official site has re-opened. On it, new information is coming in droves.
First, the newest visual shows members of the Red Clan (HOMRA). The artwork brings to mind that there will be a new story. Also, it has been revealed that two image Blu-ray discs and two drama CDs will be released ahead of the new season. The image Blu-ray discs will be re-edited versions of the stories of HOMRA and Scepter 4, and will also include promotional videos for K: Return of Kings. The drama CDs will be fun episodes focusing on HOMRA and Scepter 4, as well as Silver and Jungle. Details are posted on the official site. The image Blu-rays will cost 3,000 yen each, and the drama CDs will cost 2,500 yen each (both prices exclude tax).
Advance screenings of K: Return of Kings will also be held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on Sept. 27. There will be two showings, in the afternoon and evening, and it will likely be an event fans won’t want to miss. Attendance costs 6,000 yen (plus tax). Excitement is building over which cast members will be onstage at the event.
Serial numbers for advance tickets to the event will be included in the “K Image Blu-ray: Return of Kings Prelude - Come Back” to be released on June 24, and in the “K Drama CD: Return of Kings Prelude - Blue & Silver” to be released on July 22.
