“Conan Cafe / Detective Conan Cafe @ Tower Records Cafe” opened on March 28 at Tower Records Cafe Shibuya-ten. The cafe is being held ahead of the April 18 release of the newest film in the series, Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno. The cafe is a hot topic for its food and drink items themed after the series as well as the merchandise for sale. Read on for details about the food and merch available.
There are three food menu items: a Neapolitan pasta with bread shaped like Conan; Danny’s chicken curry with Haibara’s and Ayumi’s handmade black curry, omelette rice with a drippy egg, and bowtie pasta; and Conan and Kaito Kid deluxe BLT sandwich and cheeseburger with French fries. The world of Detective Conan can be felt from just the titles of these dishes. Those who order from this menu will receive a random Conan Cafe exclusive 2.5D figure. This as well is not to be missed.
There are also three items on the dessert menu: Conan pudding a la mode, Kaito Kid pudding a la mode, and a handmade lemon pie. Available drinks include Haibara’s handmade mixed berry jelly soda and a Conan latte. A take-out menu is also available. This menu includes a thick Conan custard pudding and a Kaito Kid egg pudding.
The cafe also has 15 collaboration goods for sale. These include clear files, postcards, and pass cases with exclusive artwork drawn just for the occasion, coasters with an original logo, hand towels, mugs, and more. These goods can be found for sale on the eighth floor of Tower Records in SpaceHachikai’s official shop. In addition to the collaboration goods, there are also capsule toys, a space for solving riddles, and more.
The cafe will be open until Sunday, May 10. The cafe has also been confirmed for Osaka, where it will be held in the Toki Plaza from Monday, April 6 to Sunday, May 10. Since it comes before the release of the film, the cafe will likely be a place fans gather at.
