Drawings of 151 Pokémon submitted to the portfolio service Behance are blowing up online.
The works are the creations of Toby Allen, a resident of England and the author of the Daily Pokemon. It seems he created one Pokémon a day from January to June of this year.
The works have attracted more than 13,000 views on Behance and provoked many to share their praise in comments like “Cool!” and “Great!”
Drawn so far are the Pokémon that appear in the so-called “first generation,” Pokémon Red/Blue.
What is Behance?
Behance is a portfolio service on which creatives from all over the world can upload their high quality works. The service took off and gathered support in the West, and now the Behance Japan Community is starting. Because such high quality works continue to be uploaded to the service day after day, it is picking up attention especially among designers and illustrators in Japan.
