The second season of Love Live! will begin in April. In a collaboration with Pacific Racing Team with Blitz, a special race car took part in the D1GP Series held on March 29 and 30. That car, titled the “NAC Love Live! 86 with Bride Falken,” has now been revealed. The characters all appear gorgeously colored on the car.
The car is a special version of the Toyota 86ZN6 driven by popular No. 1 racer, Ken Nomura. All nine of the members of the school idol unit μ's (Muse) from Love Live! appear on the car. This vivid car contrasted with white and pink excited spectators not just with its speed, but visuals as well.
Another car titled the “Otonokizaka Academy NAC Porsche with DR” will be participating in the nation’s most important car race, the Super GT, during its opening on April 5 and 6. This car’s design is planned to be unveiled at 10:00 a.m. on April 4.
Until now, Pacific Racing Team has collaborated with a number of anime and become a hot topic among many fans. Collaborations with popular works including Squid Girl and Ghost in the Shell: Arise have contributed to widening the car racing fanbase. The racing team is currently asking for help from private sponsors on their official site, with many limited items that can’t be obtained any other way prepared for those who make a donation. We’ll keep an eye on how this collaboration with Love Live! develops.
