It has been decided that a large-scale fan event for Danganronpa will take place at Makuhari Messe on Nov. 30. One more piece of information has also become known. Just before the event on Nov. 26, an official complete book on the TV anime Danganronpa: The Animation will be released from Pia. Being that this mook is from Pia, which has released many complete anime mooks to date, there are high expectations. The price has been set at ¥1,500.
Furthermore, the contents of this mook have been made public. Introductions for each character, an illustration gallery, and an introduction to the Academy of Hope are all givens for the section about the show, but a point to take notice of is the great amount of comments from the staff and cast. Included will be cast comments from the main 16 seiyū including Makoto Naegi and Megumi Ogata. Also included will be a round-table discussion between Ogata, KenKen, and Yūichirō Saitō from Spike Chunsoft, and a staff discussion between director Seiji Kishi and writer Makoto Uezu. The front and back covers will both feature illustrations drawn exclusively for the book. An exclusive large-size poster and 16 postcards will be included as supplements. This book would make for good preparation for the Danganronpa fan event.
Danganronpa: The Animation is the first anime adaptation of Spike Chunsoft’s popular game series Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. The anime is talked about for its perfectly refined and gorgeous visuals. The broadcast of the TV anime has ended, but the popularity of the series is still strong due to the anime and the games. Look forward to how the fan event develops from here on.
