On Aug. 14, the theme song “Kawaii Girl” to the entertainment event “Marble Wonderland by Asia Kawai Way,” the purpose of which is to transmit Japan’s kawaii (cute) culture to Asia, was released all over the world. In charge of this song is the hugely talked-about six-member group, Denpagumi.inc. Also, Tenchimu, a famous blogger in Japan, is in charge of the main cast while also being the emcee for the event, a position that was previously held by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Additionally, Alodia Gosiengfiao, the most famous cosplayer in the world who has 1.9 million likes on Facebook, is also be participating! This dream collaboration is produced by Tofubeats, a currently popular trackmaker whose debut album reached No. 1 on iTunes and who will debut on a major label this autumn.
The event’s name was changed this year from “Marble Collection” to “Marble Wonderland by Asia Kawai Way” and is predicted to have even more content than previous years. The Tokyo event will begin on Aug. 19 at Akasaka Blitz, and thereafter in Indonesia in September and in Singapore in November as part of the event’s Asia tour. Before the start of the event, the single for the song “Kawaii Girl”––which includes the original song, a remix version, and a karaoke version––was released in 111 countries.
