On July 11, J-World Tokyo, a Weekly Shonen Jump indoor theme park, held its grand opening. The park is themed after works serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and Jump SQ. This indoor theme park features a great number of 3D visual attractions that enable fans to savor and feel closer to the world of each work. Through these attractions, the park offers a new form of entertainment.
The park is located on the third floor of Sunshine City’s World Import Mart in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Also on July 11, Namco Namja Town, located on the second floor, held a reopening. The entrance's center gate is painted red which symbolizes Jump’s themes of friendship, hard work, and victory. Once fans pass through this gate and arrive inside, attractions abound for enjoying the worlds of Jump works.
The park features eight areas including a One Piece area and a Dragon Ball area where fans can freely enjoy the action of each work to their heart’s content. Also, as fans head home after a fun time with friends and family, they can visit the J-World Store located near the center gate and purchase precious, exclusive merchandise.
The park is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. If you are planning on making a late trip, be sure to visit before 9 p.m. because the park does not allow entrance after this time. Tickets are 1,300 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for children (4 years old to middle school students).
