It has been announced that the first volume of the Blu-ray and DVD for the popular robot anime Valvrave the Liberator, which began broadcasting last month on MBS and TBS stations, will be released on June 26.
The series composer for the anime is Ichiro Oko, who is known for writing Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and other works. The series is being produced by Sunrise, a well-established name in the world of robot anime. This much-discussed work has picked up attention from fans and anime producers alike.
The first volume Blu-ray and DVD will come with the first two episodes: “Transfer Student of Revolution” and “Beyond 666.”
In addition to the anime, the first press limited edition will include footage from related events held before the anime’s broadcast began and an original drama CD. This gorgeous set comes in a box that has been specifically drawn by character design planner Katsura Hoshino.
