On April 26, service began for the social card game Attack on Titan: Counterattack of Wings. The manga for Attack on Titan, which is currently serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, has sold more than 13 million copies, and the currently airing anime adaptation is hugely popular. Now, Attack on Titan has been introduced as a social game on Gree. Along with the launch of the game, the official site, and the official blog, a slew of campaigns have been announced.
Attack on Titan: Counterattack of Wings differs from other social games released up until now by being a new type of game that allows players to experience the charm of Attack on Titan by immersing them in its world. The game is loaded with missions, allows players to work cooperatively in large-scale battles that happen in real time, and offers customization options for weapons and class changes for characters.
When the service launched, players were given an SR Rare weapon card simply by logging in. In addition, a limited time campaign in which players search for and defeat Titans, called “Exterminate Every Last Titan!!,” began. The game’s official site and blog are being updated with the latest news on the game, including future campaigns. Original illustrations are also planned to be uploaded.
