The anime adaptation of the hugely popular PS3 game Hyperdimension Neptunia will begin broadcasting this summer. The latest news is already being released. On April 1, information on the main staff and a PV was released.
Masahiro Mukai, who is popular for working on Ben-To and Puella Magi Madoka Magica, is directing the anime. Shogo Yasukawa is in charge of the series composition and script. Hitomi Takechi is in charge of character design. The anime is being produced by David Production, which is popular for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
The PV for Hyperdimension Neptunia was screened in advance at Anime Contents Expo 2013. Now, it has been made available on the anime’s official site, so you can check out a glimpse of the anime for yourself.
Furthermore, a spin-off novel of the anime will be published by MF Bunko J. The first volume titled “Hyperdimension Neptunia TGS Hono no Futsukakan” will release on May 25 for 609 yen (tax included). It seems fans may be able to enjoy this series’ world prior to the anime’s broadcast.
The spin-off manga Hyperdimension Neptunia Hello New World will begin in the June issue of Dengeki Maoh magazine, which will be available for purchase on April 27. Having already achieved a manga, anime, and novel adaptation, the success of Hyperdimension Neptunia is evident, and many fans couldn’t be happier.
