Village Vanguard is the self-proclaimed “exciting bookstore” with a good taste in books and miscellaneous goods. This fun shop is currently collaborating with the talent company Asobisystem, which is affiliated with the famous singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and many popular models.
From April 1 - May 5, approximately 350 Village Vanguard shops will be selling “Harajuku Kawaii!!” content created by Asobisystem.
Village Vanguard is unlike other stores due to its love of subcultures, select goods, and interior design. Since Asobisystem distributes to the world “Harajuku Kawaii Culture” focusing on the fashion, music, and lifestyle found on the streets of Harajuku, this collaboration is a perfect fit for Village Vanguard. In addition to the unique goods, a shop contest is also being held headed by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu as a judge. This collaboration is adding up to be not just cute, but a lot of fun!
