Fifty years have passed since special-effects master Eiji Tsuburaya founded Tsuburaya Productions. In commemoration, the three television shows that make up Tsuburaya’s dinosaur series - Dinosaur Expedition Born Free, Dinosaur War Izenborg, and Dinosaur Squadron Koseidon - will be released on DVD.
Tsuburaya Productions is famous for the Ultraman series. However, they have also created many other great works, such as these three. This will be the first time Dinosaur War Izenborg and Dinosaur Squadron Koseidon are available on DVD.
Dinosaur War Izenborg was broadcast in 1997 and used anime for its drama and live-action for its special effects. In the series, the giant hero Aizenborg battles an army of monsters. The highly entertaining show was enjoyed by many. Now, volumes of Dinosaur War Izenborg will begin releasing in June. Two volumes of the show are planned to release each month until September.
The release of Dinosaur Squadron Koseidon and Dinosaur Expedition Born Free will begin in October of this year and April 2014, respectively.
