The three marine admirals who made the pirates tremble at the Battle of Marineford are becoming masks!
Pre-orders for the new line in the One Piece Mascolle series, “Mascolle Premium One Piece Great Deep Justice Collection”, began on November 12, at 11:00 am. This is the fourth limited edition product from Premium Bandai, and they will only be producing enough to cover pre-orders, which are being taken until 3:00pm on February 15, 2013. The product is expected to be delivered in May 2013. The cost of the set is 3,780 yen not including shipping and handling.
Mascolle (short for Mask Collection) is a series of figures that feature the heads of popular anime characters (masks) along with special effects, that are displayed on a small pedestal. This One Piece set features the fearsome marine admirals Akainu (Sakazuki), Aokiji (Kuzan), and Kizaru (Borsalino) who all wield special powers due to their Devil Fruit, which are faithfully recreated on each figure. Their facial details and expressions look amazing!
Akainu controls the Magma-Magma Fruit, letting him transform into lava, which can be seen shooting out of his figure. His uncompromising expression clearly communicates his motto “Thorough Justice” and his cherry blossom tattoo is just visible on the left side of his neck. Aokiji controls the Chilly-Chilly Fruit, letting him transform into ice, which is seen on his figure as a chilly breeze. He is even wearing his favorite mask on his forehead. Kizaru controls the Glint-Glint Fruit, letting him turn his body into light, which is represented by rays of light that are emanating from his figure. He is wearing his usual teardrop sunglasses and his aloof expression clearly communicates his motto “Unclear Justice”.
This is one mask set you definitely have to look closely at to see every last detail.
