The live action film adaptation of comedy manga The Way of the Househusband has revealed that it will open on June 3!
In addition to a new visual, the film's main trailer was released, previewing the theme song “2way nice guy” by Creepy Nuts.
Titled The Way of the Househusband: The Cinema, the film is based on Kosuke Oono's comedy manga about a former yakuza boss named Tatsu. Once known as the “immortal dragon,” he retired from life as a gangster to become a doting househusband and support his wife Miku with her career.
Hiroshi Tamaki is reprising his role as Tatsu from the 2020 TV drama alongside Haruna Kawaguchi as Miku and Jun Shison as Masa.
The Way of the Househusband: The Cinema will open in Japan on June 3, 2022.
