Netflix's upcoming One Piece live action drama has announced that Shanks will be played by Peter Gadiot!
Gadiot is known for roles like James Valdez in Queen of the South, Mister Mxyzptlk in Supergirl, and Adam Martin in Yellowjackets.
Based on Eiichiro Oda's phenomenally popular manga, One Piece follows the adventures of aspiring pirate Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as he pursues his lifelong dream of becoming the King of Pirates.
Casting announced so far includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D Luffy, Mackenyu Arata as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
The One Piece live action drama will stream worldwide exclusively on Netflix. The date is yet to be confirmed.
