Veteran screenwriter Mari Okada ( Anohana, The Anthem of the Heart ) is writing and directing her second feature length anime, titled Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kojo (Alice and Therese's Illusion Factory)!
A teaser visual and trailer has been released to mark the news.
The original film is currently being produced by Mappa ( Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen ). Tadashi Hiramatsu ( Evangelion franchise, Yuri!!! on Ice ) is serving as assistant director with animation direction and character design by Yuriko Ishii, and art direction by Kazuki Higashiji.
Details on casting and the release date are yet to be released.
