Mecha Anime 86 Reveals Broadcast Date, Second Trailer & Key Visual!

Upcoming mecha anime 86 has revealed its April 11 premiere date along with its second trailer and key visual!

The trailer also revealed the following additional cast members: Seiichiro Yamashita as Raiden Shuga, Natsumi Fujiwara as Theoto Rikka, Saori Hayami as Anju Emma, and Sayumi Suzushiro as Kurena Kukumila.

Hitorie will perform the series’ opening theme, titled "3-bun 29-byo.” SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:mizuki will perform the ending theme song, “Avid."

Adapted from the light novel series by Asato Asato, 86 is set in a world in which the Empire of Giad and Republic of San Magnolia have each developed autonomous mechanized units, named Legions and Juggernauts respectively. Though the Juggernauts are believed to be unmanned, they are in reality piloted by 86s, a group of minorities who are not recognized as human.

86 is slated to air from April 11.
