Hypnosis Mic's Bad Ass Temple Shows Nagoya Pride in New Music Video!

Bad Ass Temple, the Nagoya Division unit of rap project Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-, is set to release its debut CD at the end of the month. Ahead of that, however, a music video has been released for for the disc’s title track, “Bad Ass Temple Funky Sounds”!

The track is a collaboration with Nagoya hip hop group nobodyknows+, with lyrics by Crystal Boy, Yasu Ichiban?, Hokuroman Hanrice!!!, and Nori Da Funky Shiberesasu, plus composition and arrangement by DJ Mitsu.

Hypnosis Mic is a popular rap franchise set in a world where war is waged not with weapons, but words. At the project's beginning in Sept. 2017, it focussed on four main units named Buster Bros!!!, MAD TRIGGER CREW, Fling Posse, and Matenrou, each controlling and fighting for their own territory.

As with the other units, Bad Ass Temple consists of three members: Harai Kuko (C.V. Hayama Shouta), Aimono Jyushi (Sakakihara Yuki), and Amaguni Hitoya (C.V. Takeuchi Eiji).

“Bad Ass Temple Funky Sounds" is set for release on CD on Nov. 27.
