Popular anime Fruits Basket will be back for Season 2 in 2020!
The second season was announced during the final episode of Season 1 which saw the introduction of two new characters: Manabe Kakeru and Kuragi Machi. Played by Eguchi Takuya and Kakuma Ai, the two are student council members, who will come to be involved heavily with Sohma Yuki in due course.
Fruits Basket revolves around recently orphaned high schooler Honda Tohru who finds herself homeless after falling out with relatives until she moves in with a classmate, Sohma Kyou. However, the Sohma family turns out to be under an ancient curse in which they are possessed by the spirits of the Chinese Zodiac and turn into their corresponding animals in certain conditions.
Fruits Basket Season 2 airs in 2020.
