Ohashi Ayaka Chosen As ANiUta’s July Artist of the Month!

Voice actress and singer Ohashi Ayaka has been chosen as ANiUta’s artist of the month for July!

Born in Saitama in 1994 and raised in Tokyo from the age of five, Ohashi began her career as a child actress. A self-proclaimed otaku from middle school, she made her first foray into the world of voice acting by auditioning for talent agency Horipro. Ohashi then made her debut in 2012 on Amagami SS+, going onto her first regular role as Fleur Blanc in Eureka Seven AO in the same year.

Currently signed as a singer with Lantis, she made her official musical debut in 2014 with “YES!!", the theme for Sabagebu! -Survival Game Club!-. She went on to release her first album, "~Kido ~Start Up!~", in 2016. In addition to being an anisong star, Ohashi has also showed her talent as a drummer in her role as Yamabuki Saya in BanG Dream!.

Her latest musical pursuits include her latest single "Daisuki.", the opening theme for Hensuki: Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert, as long as she’s a cutie?. It's set for an Aug. 6 release - in other words, the anniversary of her first single debut! Hear her chat about it in the comment video below.
