Date A Live to Return With Season 3 in Jan. 2019!

Sci-fi comedy anime Date A Live is set to return for its third season in Jan. 2019.

The newly released key visual for Season 3 features the seventh Spirit Natsumi, who will be making her first appearance in the animated series.

The Jan. 2019 broadcast date was confirmed at the Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai event on Oct. 21. J.C.Staff will be handling production and the the original voice cast is set to return, including Shimazaki Nobunaga, Inoue Marina, Togashi Misuzu, and Taketatsu Ayana. In addition, Mano Ayumi will be joining the cast as new character Natsumi. J-pop voice actress unit sweetARMS is performing the opening theme, while Yamazaki Erii, also a voice actress, is handling the ending theme.

Based on the light novel series written by Tachibana Koushi and illustrated by Tsunako, Date A Live follows high school boy Itsuka Shidou who proves unexpectedly irresistible to extraterrestrial spirits set on causing chaos on Earth.

Date A Live is slated to air in Jan. 2019.
