The eccentric sextuplets from TV anime series Osomatsu-san are set to return with their very own movie in Spring 2019!
A visual and 30-second teaser accompanied the announcement of Osomatsu-san the Movie, which is slated for release in Spring 2019. Currently details are scarce, but fans can expect hilarity with a plot revolving around Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu attending their high school reunion.
Osomatsu-san the Movie will be directed by Fujita Youichi, known for his work on Gintama. Meanwhile, character designs will be handled by Asano Naoyuki and screenplay by Matsubara Shu, both of whom held similar roles for the TV anime.
Osomatsu-san is set 10 years after the events of Akatsuka Fujio's manga Osomatsu-kun and follows the daily lives of the six Matsuno brothers, now grown up as NEETs.
Advance tickets for Osomatsu-san the Movie will be available to the public from Sept. 16. An original clear file with a visual of one of the six brothers will come with the ticket as a special bonus while stocks last.
