Fairy Tail to Broadcast Final Season in October 2018!

The TV anime adaption of Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail will return in October for its “final series”.

The key visual released for the upcoming season features Natsu front and center fiercely flying the Guild flag.

Originally published in Weekly Shonen Magazine, Fairy Tail follows the adventures of Natsu, a member of the “Fairy Tail” guild and wielder of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic, as well as his guild mates I Gray and Ezra.

The TV anime adaptation has broadcast 277 episodes since its first series in 2009. The latest and “final” season is set to star the regular voice cast including Kakihara Tetsuya as Natsu, Hirano Aya as Lucy, Kugimiya Rie as Happy, Nakamura Yuichi as Gray, and Ohara Sayaka as Erza.

Ishihira Shinji will direct with series composition by Sogo Masashi, character design by Takeuchi Shinji and Sano Toshihiko, sound by Hata Shouji, and music by Takanashi Yasuharu. A-1 Pictures and Bridge will produce the anime.
