Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba to Receive Anime Produced by ufotable!

Gotouge Koyoharu’s Taisho era fantasy manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is getting a TV anime adaptation!

The TV anime will be produced by ufotable ( Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel, Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu, Tales of Zestiria the X ).

Currently running in Weekly Shonen Jump, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows a young man named Tanjiro who has lost his entire family to demons, save for his younger sister, Nezuko. However, she is transformed into a demon herself. Hoping to return his sister to her human form, Tanjiro sets out on a quest to find and kill the demon who destroyed his family.

Vol. 27 of Weekly Shonen Jump will also feature Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba in its front cover illustration with a color header inside, plus a few comments from the author and a special bonus booklet dedicated to the series.
