A new trailer for the upcoming animated fantasy film Mirai of the Future has arrived!
This long-awaited film is directed by Hosoda Mamoru, who has directed global hits like Wolf Children and Summer Wars.
The protagonist is Kun, a spoiled 4-year old boy who, under some very unusual circumstances, meets his sister Mirai. The kicker? She’s traveled back in time to meet him, being a baby in Kun's present! This encounter sets off a series of adventures between the two where Kun learns to deal with the trials and joys of having a little sister.
Mirai of the Future premieres in Japan on July 20, 2018.
