SAO Spin-off Gun Gale Online Releases Teaser Trailer!

A spinoff to the hugely popular Sword Art Online franchise, Gun Gale Online has revealed its first teaser trailer and confirmed its creative team for the anime.

Studio 3Hz, well known for such hits as Flip Flappers and Princess Principal, will be handling the animation. Sakoi Masayuki ( Matoi the Sacred Slayer ) will direct with series composition and script by Kuroda Yousuke ( My Hero Academia ) and character design and chief animation direction by Kozakai Yoshio. The original character designs were created by Kuroboshi Kouhaku.

Cast members so far confirmed include Kusonoki Tomori as LLENN, Hikasa Yoko as Pitohui, Okitsu Kazuyuki as M, and Akasaki Chinatsu as Fukajiro.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online will begin broadcasts in Apr. 2018 on Tokyo MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, MBS, and TV Aichi.
