New Pokémon Games Announced through Pokémon Direct

Pokémon fans rejoice! During the June 6 broadcast of Pokémon Direct, Nintendo announced its first Nintendo Switch Pokémon game - Pokken Tournament DX. A trailer for the game was also unveiled at the same time. The game will be released on September 22 as a "deluxe" version of Pokken Tournament, encouraging fans to take on battles both at home as well as on the go.

Also revealed are the new Pokémon games for Nintendo 3DS. Based in the same universe as Pokémon Sun and Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will feature new Pokémon as well as new stories. Both games will be released on November 11.

Lastly, Pokémon Gold and Silver will also make a return through the Nintendo Virtual Console on September 22, so you can enjoy the new games while reminiscing with the good old classics!
