Located in Omori, this magical place pairs soup bases made with katsuobushi, konbu, or sardines with six different kinds of soy sauce for an incredibly mellow broths that are absolutely perfect with their homemade noodles.

#3: Mendokoro Shinohara

This ramen shop can be found in Kanamecho, and it’s best known for pairing rich flavors of cow bones, pork, or shellfish with the classic chicken broth of soy sauce ramen. Their broth is unforgettable!

#2: Menya Shichisai (Hatchobori Location)

This shop’s fresh noodles are phenomenal with the addition of the deliciously sardine broth of their soy sauce ramen, and you’re guaranteed to leave satisfied!

#1 Chukasoba Shibata

Taking first place is Chukasoba Shibata, which can be found in Sengawa! Some of their broths include duck and frog from Aomori prefecture, giving them a delicate flavor and lingering fragrance when paired with soy sauce! As you might expect of the winner, the noodles are out of this world, too~

Instant ramen may not compare to these shops, but it’ll have to hold us off for the time being…!
