Machicon Holding Event to Appreciate “Sakura -Japan in the Box-”

“Gekicon in Meiji Theater ~Sakura -Japan in the Box- wo Kansho Shiyo~” is a stage event allowing viewers to appreciate traditional Japanese performance and anime. This will be a Machicon event and will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The Meijiza Theater, the location of the event, is an incredible place with 143 years of history in Tokyo. Women and men will be separated on the day of the event to tour the building and can then participate in quizzes and games about the theater. After that, everyone will be brought back together to meet new people. The event then ends with the powerful musical fantasy Sakura -Japan in the Box-.

This fresh musical pairs classic Japanese culture including dancing and instruments with pop culture like animation and video games. It’s a must-see!
